Itinerary

Day 1 - Sojourn to Mysore (Bangalore-Mysore, 152 Km / 3 hours)

Arrive at the airport/railway station in Bangalore and transfer to Mysore. On your arrival in Mysore, check in at the hotel and complete all the related formalities. Mysore or Mysuru is known as the ‘Cultural Capital of Karnataka,' owing to its distinct culture, historic buildings, traditional industries, and much more. If you are visiting Mysore in September or October, you get to witness Mysore Dasara, an extravagant festival which celebrates the killing of the demon Mahishasura by Goddess Durga. Take a walk around the shopping hubs of Mysore and enjoy shopping for ethnic goods such as Mysore Silk Sarees, Mysore Peta (a type of turban), traditional paintings, etc.

Day 2 - Experience the best of Mysore (Mysore)

Embark on a sightseeing tour of the major tourist attractions of Mysore, on the second day of this exciting trip. Start the tour with a visit to Mysore Palace which is home to Wodeyars - the royal family of Mysore. Within the premises of the palace, there are gardens, durbar halls, courtyards, and many buildings. Your next stop is Chamundi Hill, renowned for the famous Chamundeshwari Temple located at the top. Also, catch a glimpse of the giant Nandi statue which is situated on these hills. Continue your shopping spree in the local markets, after the sightseeing trip. Day 3 - Head to Bangalore with wonderful memories (Mysore-Bangalore, 152 Km / 3 hours)On the third day of Mysore trip, pack your bags and get ready for your journey back to Bangalore. Before leaving Mysore, ensure that all the check-out formalities are completed. Transfer to the airport or railway station in Bangalore and proceed for your onward journey, with wonderful memories of your stay in Mysore.
